Ansdell welcomed Brun Grove FC to the Ansdell Arena looking for the third win in a row, but despite a Danny Garth double and a second half strike from player-manager Ben Wiseman it wasn't enough for another win.

A late goal from Brun saw the game finish 3-3.

Scott Williams has been ruled out for a further two weeks with a back injury.

Club captain Williams was expected to return to the squad for this weekends home game, but has been ruled out again.

"The player is disappointed at the set back, but doesn't feel right yet so won't be risked" A club spokesman said.

"He is hoping to be back sooner rather than later, but knows he is fighting for his place with the teams improved performances"

Ansdell welcome Brun Grove to the Ansdell Arena on Sunday hoping to make it three wins in a row, with back to back home wins.

Ansdell met Brun Grove just a fortnight ago at Stanley park with Ansdell coming out 4-1 winners with Martin Downs, Blake Cryer, Paul Wilks and Danny Garth registering on the score sheet.

Folowing the injury news of defender Richard Hitchins, Ansdell have been dealt more bad news with forward Blake Cryer being ruled out for weeks.

Cryer limped out of Sunday's victory over Stanley Arms Wesham FC, following scans in has been revealed the player has suffered dislocation to three toes.

Continuing on the injury front, a bit of good news. Ansdell manager Ben Wiseman is expecting Scott Williams and Wes Platel to return to the squad for Sundays game.

It was confirmed today that defender Richard Hitchins would be sidelined for at least a month after learning he has ruptured a tendon in his calf.

Ansdell welcomed Stanley Arms Wesham to the Ansdell Arena, looking for back-to-back victories and revenge from their 6-5 defeat earlier in the season.

While midfielder Keith Hulme was given his first start for nearly 3 months.
