With the season in the later stages it has been reported that Score FC are trying to unsettle the Legend that is Danny Garth with rumours of the mighty Girth entering preseason contract talks.

Ansdell striker Danny Garth has entered pre-contract negotiations with Score FC. The player is keen to tie up a move to secure future in the BFSFA, after the arrivals of Richard Hitchins, Liam Cowgill, Dave Horrocks and Andrew Rushworth in recent times Garth feels the time is right after falling out with the management at the Ansdell Arena.

When the club asked Danny to explain where the story came from and wether there was any truth in it. He explained " I was out drinking (orange juice as he is tee total) and was aproched by various back room staff from Score FC who were obviously a bit worse for ware and they took go away and get off my foot as please I would love to sign for you next season" The Ansdell Excellsior Manager Daz Meehan has taken Garths version of events and explained to his players to be vigilant of other team's who are jealous of the talented players we have at this club trying to stir to upset our changing room.



The club has put this story to bed now and to put the minds of fans to rest by saying " Danny Garth is a AFC Ansdell Excellsior player and has at least 4 seasons on his contract Danny was here at the start of the club and will be around for years to come"
