Ansdell travelled to Wesham with a depleted squad to face league new side Lane Ends
Ansdell lined up Wilks,Per,Fonz,JT across the back, Smudger,Worrall,Docherty,Blincow in midfield with Garth and Casson up top, Subs were Bryne and Wilkiinson.
Ansdell got off to a poor start finding themselves 1-0 down after 2 minutes a free header at he far post left the unmarked froward with an easy finnish
Ansdell dominated the half going forward but had to wait until 25 minutes before Smudge beat 3 men and hit the unstopable equaliser past the hapless keeper 1-1
Within minutes Ansdell were 2-1 up, Docherty bundled the ball through for Percival to curl a low angled shot into the far corner.
30 mins, Casson hit a long range effort which the keeper spilled only for Garth to follow up with a simple tap in to make it 3-1
Casson hit another long range effort this time the keeper saved well only yet again to see the parried shot turned in by goalpoacher Garth 4-1
On the stroke of half time Casson broke into the box and slotted home 5-1

The second half was the same as the first, Ansdell pushing forward, then a neat pass from Docherty found Casson who hit a 20 yard screemer past the Lane Ends keepr 6-1
Wilkuinson replaced Worral and Bryne replaced Blincow.
Casson completed his hatrick again from a Docherty run into the box, whos shot rebounded off the post for Casson to simply tap in 7-1
The last goal of tha game came from a long range effort from right back JT who smashed a 30 yarder through a crowd of players to make it 8-1
this didnt stop Ansdell, who were unlucky with further efforts from Garth, Bryne, Casson, Smudger and Docherty all going close.

Summary
A good all round team performance after a dodgy openeing 10 minutes. Next week will be far more of a physical game, when Ansdell who lye in 2nd in the table take on leadue leaders Burlingtons
